Short answer: an Indian ingredient exporter can still take part in Fi Europe 2026 in three ways. Book a stand with the organiser if space is left, walk the show on a Supplier pass and set meetings in advance, or have buyers who are going introduced to you. The organiser, Informa Markets, expects more than 1,500 exhibiting suppliers and 27,000+ attendees from 135+ countries, per its website on 21 October 2026.

Why Fi Europe matters to Indian exporters
Fi Europe is where European food makers look for ingredients: the people who write specs for sauces, snacks, bakery, ready meals, drinks and supplements. Its show areas are Food Ingredients, Health Ingredients, Tech, Services and Equipment, the Pet Food and Nutrition Hub, and Ready to Market. For a spice grinder, a guar gum mill, a botanical extract plant or a dehydrated onion and garlic unit, the first two areas are where the buyers walk.
The show moves between Frankfurt and Paris. In 2026 it is in Frankfurt. Three days with this many ingredient buyers in one hall is hard to match with cold emails. The catch is that buyers arrive with packed diaries, so most useful meetings are fixed before the show, not on the floor.

Three ways to take part
Your own stand
- Book through the organiser's book-a-stand page
- Best if you can bring samples and a team for three days
- Late in the cycle: ask what space is still free
Visit on a Supplier pass
- Entry from 09:00, an hour before the halls open to all
- Early app access, the visitor list and a meeting area, per the organiser
- Set meetings with buyers and exhibitors before you fly
Be introduced to buyers
- We share your profile with buyers who ask us for Indian suppliers in your category
- Before, during and after the show
- Send a brief or WhatsApp us to start
The Supplier pass is the organiser's ticket for companies that sell ingredients and come to meet buyers without a stand. The cheaper Standard, Priority and Premium passes are meant for buyers and visitors; prices for all four are on the full guide linked above and on the organiser's site.
What European buyers will ask you for
Four weeks to 17 November: a preparation plan
| When | What to do |
|---|---|
| 21 to 27 Oct | Decide how you will take part. If exhibiting, ask the organiser about space today. List the 20 buyer types you want to meet. |
| 28 Oct to 3 Nov | Finish spec sheets, certificates and lab reports in English. Book travel and check your Schengen visa timeline with the German mission. |
| 4 to 10 Nov | Book your pass. Start meeting requests in the organiser's app and by email. Pack and label samples. |
| 11 to 16 Nov | Buy the pass before the price rises on 15 Nov 23:59 CEST if not done. Confirm each meeting with a time and a stand or meeting point. |
| 17 to 19 Nov | Meet, take notes per buyer, collect cards. 19 Nov closes at 16:00. |
| 20 to 27 Nov | Send every buyer the samples, prices and documents they asked for within a week. |
Tell us the ingredient, spec and volume. We introduce Indian spice, gum, extract and dehydrated food suppliers that match, and help set a meeting at or after the show.
